As NPA works in some of the poorest areas of jordan , your students will visit those communities, learn about them and provide services to the less fortunate segments of Jordanian societies. Your students will observe international organization in action and learn about one international humanitarian legal instrument. |

Began operations in Jordan in 2006. A major contributor to Jordan's goal of becoming mine free by 2012. Released 14 million square meters of suspected hazardous area in Wadi Araba and Aqaba, enabling mega million projects in tourism, hydro electricity, agriculture and development. Current tasked with clearing of some 93 minefields on the northern border with Syria. Created over 200 job opportunities for the communities surrounding the minefields in some of the poorest areas in country. |
